Has this customer already claimed the benefit?
Begin with the protected action, the policy that defines eligibility and the system that can apply a response. Establish who owns a disputed decision before adding new evidence.
Evidence worth collecting
- Campaign and entitlement history
- Qualifying purchases, refunds and rewards
- Account relationship and repeat activity context
A practical control sequence
- Record claims under a stable campaign and business-action identifier. Make grant operations safe to retry.
- Check the resource boundary before consuming credits, issuing a reward or accepting another claim.
- Delay irreversible rewards until qualification is complete. Define review ownership and the conditions for reversal.
Watch the boundary
A relationship between accounts is not automatically a breach of the offer. Write terms that specify whether eligibility belongs to an account, person, household or business.
Measure customer completion, confirmed outcomes, review effort and missing results within the same cohort. A rise in blocked activity alone does not show that the business is better protected.
